Climate Action
Victor Glover, an astronaut aboard the Artemis II Moon mission, described the nine day flight as “one of the most spiritual moments of [his] life.” Glover felt that his faith had “definitely grown,” and by the end of the mission, the astronauts “talked a lot about God…a lot about creation and the beauty of the universe.” (Source: Religion News Service) Let’s do the same. And let’s take action!

Beyond Our Doors
Friday, November 6, 2026, 7:30pm at St Jacobs Mennonite Church (1310 King St N, St Jacobs). Menno Singers, with Artistic Director Brandon Leis, presents its first concert of the year, ‘Pale Blue Dot Earth’, a musical exploration of the seasons and places of our world. The concert also includes Lieder and Art songs performed by tenor Brandon Leis and pianist Charmaine Fopoussi. Tickets available at https://mennosingers.com/pale-blue-dot-earth/ or at the door.
Fair Trade Pop-Up Coming to New Hamburg
The Village Fair is a new local not-for-profit working to carry forward the fair trade mission of Ten Thousand Villages.
This November, we are hosting a seasonal pop-up in collaboration with Ten Thousand Villages Cobourg. Shop a beautiful selection of fairly traded, handcrafted products made by artisans around the world.
Dates: November 12–14, 19–21 and 26–28
Hours: Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Location: 112 Peel Street, New Hamburg
Please note that handwoven rugs will not be available November 12–14. They will be featured November 19–21 and 26–28.
